Deal insights
The TCL 75" Class QM8K Series 4K UHD HDR QD-Mini LED Smart TV with Google TV (2025) is a Good Deal, offering premium-leaning display tech, a large 75-inch screen, and gaming-focused inputs at a price that sits near the premium entry band. Display specs and high refresh-rate claims compare well with upper mid-range to premium expectations, while the platform and I/O match typical mid-to-high tier offerings.
Here is why
When selecting qled TVs, focus on display quality, screen size, smart platform and gaming/input features. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Display Quality (4K QD-Mini LED; HDR5000 certified; up to 3800 nits) : These claims align with premium-tier display characteristics and are stronger than typical mid-range wording. Peak-nit and HDR numbers are high compared with mid-range norms and match premium benchmarks, though advertised nit figures can be optimistic; buyers who prioritize absolute HDR/peak brightness should confirm measured reviews.
2.
Screen Size (75" diagonal) : A 75" size is squarely in the large-screen band and typical for upper mid-range to premium models. For buyers wanting living-room scale viewing this matches expectations for the price band.
3.
Smart Platform & Connectivity (Google TV; Wi‑Fi; Bluetooth) : Google TV and common connectivity fit mid-to-premium expectations. The presence of an AI processor and Dolby Atmos is typical for higher-tier sets; confirm whether Wi‑Fi is 6 and which HDMI ports support full bandwidth if those details matter to you.
4.
Gaming & Inputs (144Hz native; Auto Game Mode; multiple HDMI) : Native 144Hz and gaming modes are toward the higher end of mid-range and in line with premium gaming features. Benchmark sets expect 120–144Hz and HDMI 2.1 support; buyers should verify per-port HDMI 2.1/4K@120Hz capability to ensure full console/PC compatibility.
Deal price at $1399.99: sits at the high end of the mid-range band and right around premium entry pricing for large-screen QLED TVs. The price aligns with premium-leaning feature sets such as QD-Mini LED and very high peak-nit claims, and the TCL name can justify a higher-than-average mid-range price for a 75" model.
Overall, this Good Deal fits buyers who want a 75" set with QD-Mini LED style brightness and fast native refresh for gaming without stepping into flagship pricing. Great for mixed use: streaming, HDR viewing, and console play. Double-check exact HDR certification details, full HDMI 2.1 support per port, and warranty terms before buying.
