Deal insights
Microsoft Surface Book 3 13.5" 2-in-1 Laptop is a Good Deal, offering strong performance hardware in a premium-priced refurbished unit. The Core i7, 32GB RAM and discrete GTX 1650 Max-Q are at or above typical mid-range performance and align with premium-class configurations, while the 13.5-inch PixelSense touchscreen and convertible input match premium display/input expectations ; battery life and weight are not stated, so final fitness for highly mobile users depends on those details.
Here is why
When selecting 2 in 1 laptop computers, focus on performance, display and input, battery life, and portability. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Performance (Intel Core i7; 32GB RAM; GeForce GTX 1650) : For its price band this performance is at or above typical mid-range and aligns with premium-class expectations where discrete GPUs and 16–32GB RAM are common. As a refurbished unit, the stronger CPU/GPU pairing helps justify a premium price, but buyers should confirm SSD capacity and thermal/sustained performance if they plan heavy workloads.
2.
Display & Input (13.5" PixelSense; 2-in-1 convertible) : A 13.5-inch PixelSense touchscreen and 2-in-1 convertible layout match premium display/input benchmarks for this category. This is typical-to-strong for premium models where high-quality touch panels and pen/convertible support are expected.
3.
Battery Life (unlisted) : Battery life is a commonly listed metric but is not provided here; for premium convertible laptops battery runtime can vary widely, especially with a discrete GPU. Buyers who need long mobile endurance should double-check realistic battery figures for this configuration on the product page.
4.
Portability (unlisted) : Weight and thickness are not stated, yet they materially affect portability for a 13.5-inch premium convertible. Verify the unit weight and whether the discrete-GPU cooling increases thickness or weight before deciding if mobility is a priority.
Deal price at $1799.99: sits in the premium price band for 2-in-1 laptops. The unit is listed as refurbished, which can explain a discount versus new premium models but no explicit recent price history is provided to quantify that difference.
This Good Deal fits buyers who need above-average CPU and GPU performance in a compact convertible and who are comfortable buying refurbished. Double-check battery life estimates and actual unit weight and confirm warranty/return terms for refurbished condition before purchasing.
