Deal insights
Microsoft Surface Laptop 3 15" Touch-Screen Laptop is a Good Deal, offering mid-range performance (Ryzen 5 with 8GB RAM) and a full 15-inch touchscreen at a price consistent with mid-range laptops, with refurbished condition likely contributing to the price advantage.
Here is why
When selecting traditional laptop computers, focus on performance, battery life, display quality, and portability. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Performance (Ryzen 5; 8GB RAM; Vega 9 GPU) : At $699.99 this maps to a mid-range expectation: Ryzen 5 with 8GB RAM matches typical mid-range configurations for general productivity. Performance is typical for mid-range laptops and should handle multitasking and office workloads, though heavier content creation or gaming will be limited by RAM and integrated GPU.
2.
Battery Life (unlisted) : Battery life is a commonly important mid-range metric and the listing does not provide it; buyers who need long unplugged runtime should double-check the expected hours on the product page. Missing battery numbers are common for some listings but matter for all-day use.
3.
Display Quality (15-inch; multitouch) : A 15-inch touchscreen is aligned with mid-range display expectations where FHD touch panels are common. This is a stronger comfort signal than a small HD panel, though exact resolution and brightness are not stated; assume typical mid-range panel performance unless the seller lists higher-spec details.
4.
Portability (unlisted) : Weight and thinness are not listed; mid-range 15-inch laptops typically weigh around 1.5–2.0 kg. If portability is a priority, buyers should verify weight and dimensions on the product page before purchase.
Deal price at $699.99: sits in the mid-range price band for traditional laptops. The product is listed refurbished, which can help explain a mid-range price below typical new-premium levels; no recent price history is provided to compare against.
As a Good Deal this fits buyers who want a larger touchscreen laptop with everyday productivity performance without paying premium-new prices. Double-check warranty and return terms for the refurbished unit and confirm battery life if long unplugged runtime is important.
