Deal insights
Microsoft Surface Laptop 4 13.5" Touch-Screen Intel Core i7 16GB RAM 512GB SSD Graphite is a Good Deal, offering strong CPU, ample RAM and a full SSD at a mid-range price in refurbished condition. The touchscreen 13.5-inch display and 16GB/512GB configuration align with typical mid-range to near-premium specs, while the refurbishment status is consistent with a lower price than new models.
Here is why
When selecting traditional laptop computers, focus on performance, battery life, display quality, and portability. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Performance (Intel Core i7; 16GB RAM; 512GB SSD) : Configuration is toward the higher end of mid-range and close to premium-level memory/storage. For typical mid-range laptops this is better than usual baseline and supports sustained multitasking and faster storage; refurbished condition may explain the attractive price.
2.
Battery Life (not listed) : Battery life is not specified in the listing, which can matter for daily all‑day use; mid-range benchmarks expect roughly 10–14 hours claimed. Buyers who need long runtimes should double-check the product page or seller notes.
3.
Display Quality (13.5 inch; touchscreen) : A 13.5-inch touchscreen matches mid-range premium-leaning displays in size and functionality; mid-range benchmarks favor FHD IPS or 16:10 panels, and Surface panels often have higher color/contrast than basic FHD panels, so this is at least typical for mid-range and may be stronger in real-world color and touch responsiveness.
4.
Portability (not listed) : Portability metrics are not specified; mid-range portables typically weigh 1.5–2.0 kg. The 13.5-inch Surface family is generally on the lighter side, but buyers should confirm exact weight/dimensions on the product page if mobility is a priority.
Deal price at $699.99: sits in the mid-range price band for traditional laptops. The refurbished condition can explain a lower listing price versus new mid-range units; no recent price history is provided to compare against averages.
This Good Deal suits buyers who want a compact touch-enabled laptop with solid multitasking performance and roomy storage at a lower price than new units. Double-check the warranty/return terms for the refurbished unit and confirm claimed battery life on the product page if long runtimes are important.
