Deal insights
Microsoft Surface Laptop 3 13.5" Touch-Screen Intel Core i7 16GB 256GB SSD is a Good Deal, offering above‑average CPU and RAM for its price band and a well-regarded brand platform, while the refurbished condition helps lower cost without obvious feature sacrifices.
Here is why
When selecting traditional laptop computers, prioritize performance, battery life, display quality, and portability. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Performance (Intel Core i7; 16GB RAM; 256GB SSD) : At $799.99 and given mid-range placement, an i7 with 16GB RAM is better than typical mid-range CPU/RAM combinations and leans toward premium performance for everyday multitasking. The 256GB SSD is typical for mid-range configurations; heavier storage needs may require an upgrade.
2.
Battery Life (unlisted) : Battery life is not stated, which matters for portability expectations; Surface models often claim all‑day runtimes but real results vary. Buyers should double-check estimated runtime or battery health on the refurbished unit before purchase.
3.
Display Quality (13.5 in; PixelSense touchscreen) : A 13.5-inch PixelSense touchscreen is consistent with higher-tier displays in this family and typically offers better color and touch than basic FHD panels; exact brightness and resolution details are not fully specified, so expect typical premium‑leaning Surface screen performance unless the listing clarifies otherwise.
4.
Portability (13.5-inch clamshell; weight unlisted) : Form factor fits the compact ultraportable class and is typical for mid-range to premium thin laptops. Weight is not listed; verify the listed weight if absolute lightness is a requirement, though Surface Laptop 3 models are generally in the expected 1.2–1.5 kg neighborhood.
Deal price at $799.99: sits in the mid-range price band for traditional laptops. The refurbished condition may explain part of the price; compare to new mid-range models if you prefer a factory warranty.
This Good Deal suits buyers who want a compact Windows laptop with strong multitasking performance and a touchscreen at a mid-range price. Double-check warranty/return terms for the refurbished unit and confirm battery health if longevity under heavy use is a priority.
