Deal insights
Microsoft Surface Laptop 2 13.5 inch Touch Screen Intel Core i7 16GB 512GB SSD is a Good Deal, offering a strong CPU, ample RAM, and roomy SSD consistent with premium configurations but priced as a refurbished unit. Battery and touchscreen display match premium expectations for this class, while portability details are not provided and are worth confirming before purchase.
Here is why
When selecting traditional laptop computers, focus on performance, battery life, display quality, and portability. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Performance (Intel Core i7; 16GB RAM; 512GB SSD) : Configuration aligns with premium benchmarks where higher‑end CPUs and 16GB+ RAM are typical. For a premium-priced refurbished unit this is a strong spec set and is better than typical mid-range offerings.
2.
Battery Life (14.5 hr) : Claimed 14.5h sits within premium typical ranges and toward the higher end of mid-range expectations. As with many vendors, actual runtime will vary with workload, so treat the number as an optimistic manufacturer figure.
3.
Display Quality (13.5" touchscreen) : A 13.5-inch touch panel matches premium Ultrabook patterns for high-quality displays in this segment. The listing does not state resolution or peak brightness; buyers who need a specific color/brightness level should confirm those numbers on the product page.
4.
Portability (weight unlisted; chassis unlisted) : Portability benchmarks for premium laptops expect ~1.1–1.8 kg; the listing omits weight and chassis details that matter for frequent travel, so buyers should double-check dimensions and weight before purchasing.
Deal price at $1679.99: sits inside the premium price band for traditional laptops. The listing is for a refurbished Microsoft Surface model, which can explain a premium asking price relative to mid-range alternatives; consider warranty and return terms when comparing value.
Overall, this Good Deal fits buyers who want a compact premium Windows laptop with strong multitasking performance and generous storage without paying full retail for a new unit. Confirm warranty/return coverage for the refurbished condition and double-check weight and chassis details if portability is a priority.
