Deal insights
The NADOBA Talking Alarm Clock Keychain is a Great Deal, offering the core talking/time-announcement features expected from budget accessibility keychain devices at a price below recent typical levels. The listed display and spoken-time features align with budget expectations and the included LR44 cells match common power choices for this format.
Here is why
When selecting low vision clocks & watches, consider display legibility, accessibility features, and power/battery life. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Display Legibility (2.39" screen; digital display; spoken alphanumeric) : This is typical for budget talking keychains where speech is prioritized over oversized digits. The 2.39" screen is modest but consistent with small-format designs; legibility will rely on high-contrast rendering more than very large numerals.
2.
Accessibility Features (spoken time; 12/24-hr; easy-press button) : These features match budget expectations of single-press spoken time and basic mode options. Volume control and multi-alarm or selectable voices are not listed, which is normal at this price but means buyers wanting advanced voice or multi-alarm support should check further.
3.
Power & Battery (battery powered; 2 LR44) : Using small replaceable button cells and including batteries fits the budget typical. LR44 cells are common for compact talking keychains; buyers who prefer longer-run rechargeable or coin-cell longevity would typically look at higher-priced models.
Deal price at $14.39: sits near the lower end of the budget band for low-vision talking clocks and keychain talkers. It is priced below its recent 30-day average of about $17.44, which makes the current asking price comparatively attractive for a simple talking keychain.
Overall, this Great Deal is best for buyers who want a compact, speech-first keychain clock for quick time checks and basic alarms. Confirm battery replacement ease and test the announcement volume if possible, especially if loudness or multi-volume levels are important to you.
