TDCHINGES Rounded Door Hinges 3.5" x 3.5" Brushed Black 5/8" Radius is a Good Deal, offering a 12-piece brushed-black iron multipack at a price below its recent 90-day average and consistent with budget-to-mid-range expectations. The material and finish match typical mid-to-budget finishes and the large pack count gives clear value for basic residential projects.
Here is why
When selecting door hinges, useful dimensions are hinge type, weight capacity, material and finish, and pack count. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Hinge Type (full mortise; plain bearing; 270° swing) : The full-mortise plain-bearing hinge is typical for budget and lower mid-range items. Round-corner decorative styling and 270° range align with common residential uses rather than premium concealed or ball-bearing commercial types.
2.
Weight Capacity (unlisted) : Most budget listings omit numeric capacity, so absence is not unusual. Buyers fitting heavy or exterior doors should double-check per-hinge or per-set load guidance on the product page before relying on these for heavy-duty applications.
3.
Material & Finish (iron base; oil-rubbed finish) : Iron with an oil-rubbed brushed-black finish matches typical budget-to-mid-range material/finish expectations. It is not the stainless or forged-brass construction that justifies premium pricing, so material explains the lower price position.
4.
Pack Count (12 pieces) : A 12-piece pack is common in budget multipacks and provides clear per-unit value. Mid-range and premium items more often sell as small sets (1–6), so this pack size signals economy-focused positioning.
Deal price at $15.45: sits near the lower end of the mid-range band or the upper end of budget for door hinges. It is priced below its recent 90-day average of about $20.29, which makes the multipack offer more attractive for buyers who need several hinges.
Overall, this Good Deal suits buyers fitting multiple interior doors or doing bulk installations who prioritize consistent finish and quantity over certified heavy-duty ratings. Consider this if you want a brushed-black iron multipack at a below-average price ; double-check warranty and weight-capacity guidance if you plan to use these on heavy or exterior doors.
