Deal insights
The Solvoxa Shot Timer for Shooting Competition is a Great Deal, offering competition-focused timing features and a loud buzzer at a price below its recent average while matching premium-class functionality expected for specialized shot timers.
Here is why
When selecting timers, focus on timing modes, power source, and mounting/display readability. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Timer Capability (110dB buzzer; split times; par time; LCD auto-scroll) : This feature set aligns with premium shot/competition timers rather than basic consumer timers. Multiple functions, split timing and par-time support are noticeably better than typical mid-range countdown-only units and match common premium expectations for competition use.
2.
Power Source (9V battery; battery not) : Replaceable 9V batteries fit within the broader range but differ from premium rechargeable USB options. For a premium-priced competition timer this is typical but not leading; buyers may prefer confirming battery life or rechargeable alternatives for frequent event use.
3.
Mounting & Display (reinforced steel clip; belt bag mounting; bright LCD) : Rugged mounting and a bright, readable LCD are consistent with higher-end portable timers. This is stronger than the basic fridge-magnet or tabletop mounting found in budget models and typical for purpose-built competition devices.
Deal price at $69.99: sits well above typical mid-range and into the premium band for timers. It is priced below its recent 30-day average of about $85.68, which makes the current offer relatively more attractive for a specialty shot/competition device.
Overall, this Great Deal is a good fit for competitive shooters or range operators who need clear split/par timing and a very loud buzzer. Confirm battery type and warranty terms and check return policy for refurbished or open-box conditions if present, but the current price and feature set make it compelling for range use and events.
