Deal insights
The R.W.FLAME Electric Fireplace Heater 17" is a Good Deal, offering the common 1,500 W heater and freestanding convenience at a price below recent averages while providing realistic flame effects and standard safety controls.
Here is why
When selecting electric fireplaces, compare heating output, installation type, flame and lighting realism, and controls and safety. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Heating Output (1500W) : For its budget price band, 1,500 W is typical and meets expected supplemental heating performance. This matches usual entry-level and mid-budget units where wattage itself is not a premium differentiator.
2.
Installation Type (freestanding) : Freestanding is a common installation style in the budget tier and aligns with typical options for portable plug-in units. It offers easy placement but lacks built-in trim or hardwire features found in higher tiers.
3.
Flame & Lighting (realistic flame; 180° viewing; independent flame) : Flame visuals described are in line with budget-to-mid-range expectations where LED-based realistic effects and adjustable viewing are common. The independent flame effect is a positive for ambiance and is toward the better side of typical budget offerings.
4.
Controls & Safety (remote control; overheat protection; corded AC) : Remote plus basic overheat protection is typical for budget models and meets standard safety expectations. The listing does not mention certification details; buyers who prioritize ETL/UL listing or extended safety features may want to confirm certification on the product page.
Deal price at $125.99: sits within the budget band for electric fireplaces, near the budget median. It is priced below its recent 30-day average of about $148.46, which makes this listing comparatively cheaper than recent typical levels.
This Good Deal fits buyers who want an affordable freestanding unit with standard supplemental heating and visual flame effects for a small to medium room. Double-check warranty and return terms and confirm any required clearances or mounting needs before purchase.
