Deal insights
The Qlearsoul SoulBox S1 Turntable is a Good Deal, offering a recognizable AT-3600L cartridge, integrated bookshelf speakers, and two-speed belt drive at a price below recent levels. The combination of a branded moving-magnet cartridge and included powered speakers gives clear value versus basic budget players, while overall component quality aligns with mid-range expectations rather than premium audiophile hardware.
Here is why
When selecting audio & video turntables, focus on audio quality, drive and speed accuracy, and connectivity options. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Audio Quality (AT-3600L cartridge; S-shaped tonearm; 25mm tweeter) : The pre-installed AT-3600L and S-shaped tonearm are typical for the mid-range and noticeably better than generic budget cartridges. Built-in bookshelf speakers move the unit toward an all-in-one consumer system, which is common in mid-range multimedia turntables but below premium separate-component fidelity.
2.
Drive & Speed (belt-driven; 33/45 RPM) : A belt drive and two standard speeds are typical for mid-range models. The listed motor type and speeds match expectations but do not claim the heavier platters or precision motors found in premium units.
3.
Connectivity (Bluetooth wireless; detachable outputs; line-level unlisted) : Bluetooth plus analog outputs is expected for this price band and aligns with mid-range convenience-focused designs. The lack of an explicit switchable phono/line detail is common in some listings; buyers who need a dedicated phono output or USB digitization should confirm the exact output options on the product page.
Deal price at $179.98: sits in the mid-range band for turntables, below the typical mid-range median. It is priced below its recent 30-day average of about $249.98, which makes the offer more attractive for a unit that bundles speakers and a named cartridge.
This Good Deal suits listeners who want a ready-to-play system with better-than-entry cartridge performance and built-in powered speakers for casual listening. Buyers who plan serious analogue upgrades or precise speed stability should compare platter mass and tonearm adjustability; also double-check the phono/line switching and warranty if those are important.
