Deal insights
Probrico Black Privacy Door Knob (12 Pack) for Interior Doors is a Great Deal, offering standard privacy functionality, broad installation compatibility, and stainless-steel construction at a price well below recent typical levels. The 12-pack format and stainless finish align with mid-range expectations while the strong discount versus the 90-day average increases overall value.
Here is why
When selecting door knobs, look at functionality, installation and compatibility, and material and finish. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Functionality (privacy knob; locking button; no keys) : Functionality matches typical mid-range privacy sets: basic keyed entry is not present but privacy locking is standard and expected for interior doors. This feature is appropriate for bedrooms and bathrooms and aligns with buyers seeking non-keyed privacy hardware.
2.
Installation & Compatibility (single-bore fit; 2-3/8" backset; 2-3/4" backset; 1-3/8"–1-3/4" thickness) : Compatibility is typical for both budget and mid-range knobs and covers the common residential backsets and thickness range. This reduces fit risk for most homes; buyers with nonstandard door thickness or atypical backsets should verify measurements.
3.
Material & Finish (stainless steel; matte black) : Material and finish are in line with mid-range expectations where stainless or plated steel is common. Stainless construction is generally more durable than basic zinc alloy finishes found at the lowest price points, supporting the product's mid-range positioning.
Deal price at $57: sits in the lower-to-mid portion of the mid-range band for door knobs. It is priced below its recent 90-day average of about $113.05, which makes the pack-level offer more notable for buyers seeking replacement interior hardware.
Overall, this Great Deal fits buyers who need multiple interior privacy knobs for a home or rental refresh and prefer a durable stainless finish at a lower cost. Double-check latch length and door-thickness fit during purchase and confirm return/warranty terms if you want extra assurance.
