Deal insights
The Optish 3 Pack Ice Trays with Lid and Bin is a Good Deal, offering a large cavity count and useful accessories at a budget-level price while matching common material and usability expectations for this tier.
Here is why
When selecting ice cube molds & trays, compare cube size and shape, material and safety, included pieces, and release/usability. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Cube Shape & Size (round cubes; 0.8 inch) : Size is on the smaller side and aligns with budget mini/pebble-style cavities. This is typical for multi-pack budget trays where many small pieces are preferred over large slow-melt cubes.
2.
Material & Safety (polypropylene; BPA-free; food-grade) : Material matches budget expectations of basic PP with food-safety claims and dishwasher compatibility. It is typical for low-cost trays and not comparable to premium platinum-cured silicone or metal options.
3.
Included Pieces (3 trays; 99 cavities; storage bin; scoop) : High cavity count and included bin/scoop are stronger than many single-tray offers and align well with value-focused budget benchmarks. Accessories improve utility without pushing the price into mid-range territory.
4.
Release & Usability (twist release; flexible tray; dishwasher safe) : Flexible twist/pop release and dishwasher-safe cleaning are typical usability features for budget trays. The design is in line with common expectations and should make demolding straightforward for small cubes.
Deal price at $8.99: sits within the budget band for ice tray multi-packs. It is roughly in line with its recent 30-day average of about $8.89, so the price is typical for basic multi-pack trays.
This Good Deal is suitable for buyers who want many small cubes and simple, dishwasher-safe trays with a storage bin. Double-check lid fit and return/warranty policy if condition or long-term durability matters, since the price and materials are typical for budget multipacks.
