Deal insights
The NEWBULIG Under Desk Walking Pad Treadmill is a Good Deal, offering a budget-friendly walking‑pad speed profile and compact, foldable design at a price slightly under recent averages. Key strengths are its portability features and an appropriate top speed for under-desk walking; the short running surface details are typical of budget under‑desk models and limit running use.
Here is why
When selecting treadmills, focus on performance, runningSurface, and foldabilityAndPortability. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Performance (5 km/h top) : At a budget price point this top speed is typical for under‑desk walking pads and aligns with walking-focused benchmarks. It is noticeably weaker than mid-range running-capable treadmills but adequate for light activity and office use.
2.
Running Surface (compact footprint; belt size unlisted) : Benchmark budget walking pads typically have short, narrow belts around 35–40" length and 14–16" width. The listing omits explicit belt size and shock absorption, which are important for brisk walking; buyers who plan faster paces should double-check exact belt length and cushioning on the product page.
3.
Foldability & Portability (foldable design; transport wheels) : These portability features match typical budget under‑desk designs and are in line with expectations for this price band. The foldable, slim profile is a clear fit for small spaces and is a common tradeoff against larger running decks.
Deal price at $65.93: sits at the low end of the budget band for treadmills. It is slightly below its recent 30-day average of about $66.37, which modestly supports the value proposition for a budget walking pad.
Overall, this Good Deal suits buyers who want a low-cost under‑desk walking pad for light walking and occasional home use. Great for small spaces and casual daily steps ; confirm belt dimensions and cushioning if you plan brisk walking or use by taller users and check warranty/return terms.
