Deal insights
Leviton 15 Amp 125 Volt Tamper Resistant Duplex Receptacle T5320-IMP Ivory is a Great Deal, combining an expected 15A/125V duplex rating, tamper-resistant protection, and a 10-unit pack at a price below recent typical levels. The core specifications match budget benchmarks while brand reputation and the pack size add practical value.
Here is why
When selecting standard electrical outlets, focus on electrical rating, safety/protection, and outlet configuration. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Electrical Rating (15 A; 125 V; duplex receptacle) : This matches the typical budget expectation of a 15A/125V NEMA 5-15R duplex. For a budget-segment price this is exactly standard and appropriate for most residential circuits.
2.
Safety & Protection (tamper-resistant; TR marking) : Tamper-resistant protection is typical for budget and mid-range outlets and aligns with common residential safety benchmarks. The listing does not state explicit NEC or UL certification text here; buyers who require specific certification wording for code inspections should confirm on the product page.
3.
Outlet Configuration (duplex outlets; 10-unit pack; Type A) : A duplex form sold in a 10-pack is typical value behavior in the budget band and helps lower per-unit cost. Pack size and standard Type A compatibility are consistent with budget benchmarks and increase practical value for multi-outlet installs.
Deal price at $6.99: sits near the lower end of the budget band for standard electrical outlets. It is priced below its recent 30-day average of about $10.06, which is a meaningful reduction for an established brand like Leviton.
This Great Deal suits homeowners and contractors who need basic, code-friendly duplex outlets in quantity at an established-brand price. Confirm mounting and NEC/UL details if your project requires specific certification language, and consider warranty/return terms for peace of mind.
