Deal insights
The NFK Ice Cube Tray with Lid and Bin (4-Pack) 48 Cubes is a Good Deal, offering a practical multi-pack, BPA-free materials, and convenient release and stacking features at a price slightly below its recent average. The tray set matches common budget expectations for cavity count and usability while the included storage bin and lids add incremental value relative to basic single trays.
Here is why
When selecting ice cube molds & trays, shoppers typically weigh cube shape and size, material and safety, included pieces, and release/usability. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Cube Shape & Size (1.7in x 1.1in; 0.8in depth; 48 total) : Size is slightly larger than many budget mini cubes and aligns with typical small-to-standard cubes for household use. Cavity count (48 total) is strong for the price band and matches the usual budget expectation for multi-packs.
2.
Material & Safety (silicone bottoms; plastic frame; BPA-free) : Materials and BPA-free labeling are typical for budget trays. Premium materials like platinum silicone or stainless steel are absent, which is normal at this price but means long-term durability may be average.
3.
Included Pieces (4 trays; 1 storage bin; 48 cubes) : A 4-pack plus a storage bin is slightly better than many basic budget sets and matches mid-tier accessory patterns, giving extra practical value without pushing the price into mid-range.
4.
Release & Usability (soft silicone; press or twist; stackable lid) : Release and stacking behavior is typical for budget-to-mid trays and should make demolding straightforward. The presence of both press/twist release and stackable lids is in line with expectations and supports everyday convenience.
Deal price at $9.99: sits near the upper end of the budget band and close to the lower edge of mid-range for ice trays. It is priced below its recent 90-day average of about $10.53, which modestly improves the value proposition for a multi-pack.
As a Good Deal, this product fits buyers who want many standard-size cubes and easy storage without paying for premium materials or specialty molds. Double-check dishwasher guidance and the lid fit if airtight storage matters; the price and 4-pack configuration make it a sensible choice for households and parties.
