Deal insights
The GTPLAYER Outdoor Wicker Egg Chair PE Rattan Chair with Cushion is a Good Deal, offering mid-range materials and a useful 360° swivel at a price slightly below its recent average. Durability and weather resistance match typical mid-range expectations for hand-woven PE rattan over powder-coated steel, comfort features (cushioned lounge, removable covers) are in line with mid-range models, and weight capacity is lower than many mid-range benchmarks but adequate for single-person use.
Here is why
When selecting patio lounge chairs, focus on durability and weather resistance, comfort and adjustability, and weight capacity. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Durability & Weather Resistance (PE rattan; powder-coated steel; outdoor-suitable) : This aligns with typical mid-range benchmarks where hand-woven PE rattan is mounted on powder-coated steel. Expected weather resistance is typical for the segment; buyers who need multi-year corrosion guarantees should check warranty details.
2.
Comfort & Adjustability (360° swivel; cushioned lounge; removable covers) : Comfort features match mid-range expectations with thicker removable cushions and swivel action. The listing shows practical adjustability and comfort comparable to many mid-tier egg chairs.
3.
Weight Capacity (250 pounds) : At about 250 lb this is weaker than the typical mid-range capacity (around 350–400 lb) and toward the lower end of common ranges. Buyers who require higher load tolerance should confirm dimensions and consider higher-capacity models.
Deal price at $158.38: sits in the middle of the mid-range band for patio lounge chairs. It is priced slightly below its recent 30-day average of about $160.56, which modestly improves value for a chair with PE rattan and a swivel feature.
This Good Deal is appropriate for buyers wanting a decorative, comfortable outdoor egg chair with swivel action and basic weather resistance without paying premium prices. Confirm warranty/return terms and verify the chair’s dimensions if you need higher weight capacity or extra-large seating; double-check cushion fabric and care instructions for long-term outdoor use.
