Deal insights
The XplrKamp Folding Collapsible Stool Chair Portable Camp Seat is a Good Deal, offering a higher-than-typical 400lb capacity and very compact packing at a budget-oriented price point. The mix of light weight and small folded size matches common portability expectations for low-cost stools while the molded plastic seat and frame keep materials basic but appropriate for casual outdoor use.
Here is why
When selecting camping stools, consider weight capacity, portability, and seat comfort/material. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Weight Capacity (400 lb) : This rating is noticeably better than typical budget stools and aligns with mid-range capacity expectations. A 400 lb rating is a practical strength for a budget-priced collapsible stool and improves perceived durability.
2.
Portability (1.98 lbs; 2.6" x 9.84"; shoulder strap) : Portability is typical for the upper-budget to lower-mid-range segment: sub-2 lb weight and a ~10 in folded profile are compact and consistent with common ultralight/pocketable stools. The included shoulder strap matches mid-range convenience features.
3.
Seat Comfort & Material (plastic seat; straight legs; 2.56"–17.72") : Materials and seat type are typical for budget models—molded plastic rather than padded or canvas seating—so comfort is basic. The listed height range provides flexibility, which is a useful feature for fit, but padding or upgraded fabrics common in mid-range items are not present.
Deal price at $19.99: sits at the higher end of the budget band and around the low end of mid-range pricing for camping stools. No recent price history is provided to compare, and the modest brand suggests the price aligns with value-focused, compact stools rather than premium designs.
Overall, this Good Deal fits buyers who want a compact, higher-capacity camp stool for occasional use and easy transport. Great for day trips, fishing, or tailgates where a small packed footprint matters. Double-check warranty or return terms and confirm the listed dimensions feel comfortable for your intended sitting height and use.
