Deal insights
The Delamu Cord Hider 100in Self-Adhesive Cable Raceway Kit is a Good Deal, offering a full 100-inch PVC strip with snap-on cover and easy peel-and-stick mounting at a price below its recent average. The kit matches typical budget expectations for channel capacity and mounting, and the length is generous for single-run wall or baseboard installs.
Here is why
When selecting cable raceways, compare channel capacity, mounting style, material and total length to match your run and install method. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Channel Capacity (2–3 cables; slim channel) : This is typical for budget raceways and fits expectations for slim wall or baseboard runs. It is adequate for HDMI/charger cords or a small TV cable bundle but below mid-range capacities intended for larger multi-cable or power-strip routing.
2.
Mounting & Installation (peel-and-stick; snap-on cover) : Adhesive, snap-on installation is exactly the common budget standard and matches typical easy-install needs. For users who prefer screw mounting or heavy-load routing, mid-range options add anchors or clamp hardware.
3.
Material & Safety (PVC construction; paintable finish) : PVC and paintability are normal for budget kits. Marketing-level safety notes are common but formal certifications are not listed; that aligns with many low-cost PVC raceways and is not unusual for this price band.
4.
Total Length & Pieces (100 in; single-piece) : A single 100-inch length is on the generous side for budget listings and compares well to typical single-piece lengths in this band. It provides convenience for one continuous run versus multi-piece kits.
Deal price at $12.99: sits near the upper end of the budget band for cable raceways. It is priced below its recent 30-day average of about $15.46, which modestly improves the value proposition for this kind of PVC adhesive raceway.
Overall, this Good Deal suits buyers who need a simple, paintable PVC raceway for hiding a few cables without drilling. It is a practical option for renters or quick wall runs; double-check attachment surface compatibility and warranty if you prefer screw-mounted or higher-capacity metal systems.
