Deal insights
The Corsair MM700 RGB Extended 3XL Cloth Gaming Mouse Pad is a Good Deal, offering a very large extended footprint and branded construction at a price slightly below recent typical levels. The size and cloth surface match premium desk-mat expectations, while base and thickness are consistent with typical premium stability rather than offering extra cushioning or rigid construction.
Here is why
When selecting mouse pads, consider surface performance, dimensions, and stability and cushioning. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Surface Performance (micro-weave cloth; glide-enhanced texture; high-precision tracking) : Surface is in line with premium cloth expectations, offering a tuned micro-weave for pixel-precise tracking. That matches typical premium surfaces which favor balanced speed and control rather than hard/glass top performance.
2.
Dimensions (48.03in × 24.01in; full-desk 3XL) : Dimensions exceed common premium desk-mat sizes and fit the XXL/desk-cover class. Large footprint is a premium signal and useful for keyboard-plus-mouse setups; it aligns with higher-priced extended mats rather than small desktop pads.
3.
Stability & Cushioning (rubber base; 0.16in (4mm); non-slip surface) : Base and 4 mm thickness are typical for premium cloth desk mats, giving stable non-slip performance. Cushioning is minimal, so stability is typical rather than noticeably more supportive or rigid than other premium options; buyers wanting thick memory-foam wrist support should consider alternatives.
Deal price at $94.99: sits at the high end of the premium band for mouse pads. It is priced below its recent 30-day average of about $105.16, which makes the asking price more attractive for a well-known peripheral brand.
Overall, this Good Deal fits buyers who need a full-desk coverage mat with reliable tracking and branded build quality. Great for gamers or workstation setups wanting a wide cloth surface; double-check return/warranty terms and whether you want extra cushioning or a rigid surface since this model is thin at 4 mm.
