Deal insights
California Design Den 100% Cotton Sateen Queen Size Sheets Set is a Good Deal, offering 100% long-staple cotton sateen with OEKO-TEX and a full 4-piece configuration at a mid-range price point. The fabric specs and 16" deep pocket align with mid-range expectations, while the price is modestly above its recent average.
Here is why
When selecting sheet & pillowcase sets, focus on fabric quality, fit and dimensions, and the pieces included. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Fabric Quality (long-staple cotton; sateen weave; 500 thread count; OEKO-TEX) : These fabric claims match or slightly exceed typical mid-range benchmarks where 200–500 TC cotton sateen is common. OEKO-TEX certification is a positive signal and the 500 TC places the set toward the higher end of mid-range fabric quality.
2.
Fit & Dimensions (queen fitted; 16" deep-pocket; 90"×102" flat) : A 16" deep pocket and full flat/fitted/pillowcase dimensions are typical for mid-range sets. The pocket depth is in the expected range for mid-range to premium-leaning offers and should fit most mattresses with toppers.
3.
Included Pieces (4 pieces; 2 pillowcases) : A 4-piece configuration is the standard mid-range offering. This matches typical pack counts and provides expected value versus budget 3-piece or larger luxury bundles.
Deal price at $67.99: sits toward the upper end of the mid-range band for sheet sets. It is slightly above its recent 30-day average of about $63.61, which moderates how attractive the price appears for a mid-range cotton sateen set.
This Good Deal fits buyers who want a traditional cotton sateen feel with decent thread count and deep pockets without paying premium-brand prices. Confirm return and warranty terms and compare current price to similar mid-range cotton sateen sets; buyers who prioritize organic or premium-brand credentials may want to look higher up the price ladder.
