Deal insights
The KIMLATAR 921 LED Bulbs T15 912 921 6500K Back Up Lights is a Good Deal, offering high quoted brightness and explicit CAN-BUS compatibility at a mid-range price with typical mid-range technology claims.
Here is why
When selecting automotive back up light bulbs, compare fitment and compatibility, light output, and technology/lifespan. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Fitment & Compatibility (T15 socket; T16/902/904/912/920/922; CAN-BUS error-free; plug&play) : This matches typical mid-range fitment language with explicit bulb-code listings and CANbus/error-free claims. It is consistent with expectations for a mid-range offering and supports easy installation for common wedge sockets.
2.
Light Output (6000 lumen; 6500 K; 20 W) : The quoted 6000 lumen figure is well above typical mid-range per-bulb claims and likely represents pair-or-aggregate reporting; this is stronger-than-typical brightness language but buyers should note mid-market listings often mix pair vs per-bulb numbers.
3.
Technology & Lifespan (IC driver; non-polarity; 80, 000 hr) : Claims of IC driver and long life align with mid-range to premium-type wording. The 80,000-hour life is higher than common mid-range claims (30k–60k) and may be a marketing estimate; overall tech is typical for mid-range items that emphasize thermal control and CANbus integration.
Deal price at $24.47: sits in the mid-range price band for aftermarket backup bulbs. At this price buyers should expect clearer fitment/CANbus claims and stronger thermal design compared with budget options.
Overall, this Good Deal suits drivers looking for very bright, plug-and-play 921/T15 replacements with CAN-BUS support and long-life LED claims. Double-check vehicle fit and seller warranty/return policy if you have a vehicle with sensitive electronics or need explicit per-bulb lumen reporting.
