Deal insights
The Chiefway 6ft Power Strip with 6 Outlets, 3 USB-A, 1 USB-C, Flat Plug, 1250W/10A, No Surge Protector is a Good Deal, offering a useful port mix and expected 10 A/1250 W capacity at a price below recent typical levels while lacking explicit surge protection.
Here is why
When selecting power strips, focus on protection and safety, outlet and port configuration, and power capacity. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Protection & Safety (10A overload; circuit breaker; surge unlisted) : For a mid-range-leaning price, expected models often include surge protection around 1,000–1,800 J. This listing does not state a surge joule rating, so protection falls short of typical mid-range benchmarks; buyers who prioritize surge coverage should confirm the presence and joule rating before buying.
2.
Outlet & Port Configuration (6 AC outlets; 3 USB-A; 1 USB-C; flat plug) : The outlet and USB count matches budget to lower mid-range patterns where 6–8 AC plus multiple USB ports are common. The inclusion of a USB-C port is in line with mid-range convenience but overall layout and counts are typical rather than premium.
3.
Power Capacity (1250 W rating; 10A continuous) : The 10 A / 1,250 W rating aligns with budget-level continuous ratings and is weaker than mid-range typical 15 A/1,875 W capacity. For standard phone/tablet charging and small appliances this is adequate; heavy-duty loads or multiple high-draw devices may exceed the intended rating.
Deal price at $19.99: sits near the lower end of the mid-range band for power strips given common pricing bands. It is priced below its recent 30-day average of about $22.47, which modestly improves value for a basic brand.
Overall, this Good Deal fits buyers who need extra AC outlets plus several USB ports for low- to medium-power home or office use and want a lower-priced, no-frills strip. Double-check warranty and return options and confirm surge protection needs before purchase since this unit lists no surge joule rating.
