Deal insights
The FairyGlim 66ft 200 LED Blue Christmas Lights (Outdoor/Indoor) with Timer is a Good Deal, offering a high LED count, full 66 ft coverage, and basic outdoor ratings at a price below its recent average. The set matches common budget strengths—many LEDs and preset modes—while providing IP44 weather resistance and a built-in timer that align with typical value-oriented outdoor strands.
Here is why
When selecting outdoor string lights, consider lighting performance, coverage and layout, durability/weather resistance, and power/control options. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Lighting Performance (200 LEDs; blue color; 8 modes; timer function) : For a budget-priced set, 200 LEDs and multiple modes are typical and attractive; LED count is high for the price band and matches common budget offerings rather than premium light-quality claims. The listing does not give lumen or Kelvin, which is common at this level and doesn't necessarily imply poor brightness for decorative use.
2.
Coverage & Layout (66 ft string; 10 ft lead; 4 in spacing) : Length and 4 inch spacing are toward the generous end of budget expectations and provide dense coverage for decorative hanging. The layout and long lead make it convenient to reach power without extension, consistent with typical budget-to-mid-range strand layouts.
3.
Durability & Weather Resistance (IP44 rated; indoor/outdoor; UL-certified) : IP44 and UL mention are typical for budget outdoor sets and indicate splash resistance suitable for seasonal outdoor use. This is not as robust as IP65+ commercial ratings found on higher tiers, so expect suited use for sheltered or occasional wet conditions rather than permanent exposed installations.
4.
Power & Control (corded plug-in; 6h/18h timer; connect up to 2) : A plug-in low-voltage setup with a basic timer and multiple modes is standard for budget strings and aligns with expectations. The connectable limit (up to 2 sets / 1000 LEDs) is typical but worth confirming on the product page if you plan long runs; condition is standard retail and price may reflect open-market value rather than refurbishment.
Deal price at $13.59: sits near the higher end of the budget band for outdoor string lights. It is priced below its recent 30-day average of about $15.99, which makes this listing a modestly cheaper option within budget offerings.
Overall, this Good Deal fits buyers who want decorative, long-run blue LED string lights for seasonal or light-duty outdoor use without spending much. Double-check connector limits and warranty details if you plan continuous outdoor installation or to link multiple sets, and consider more rugged IP65+ sets if you need heavy-duty, year-round outdoor performance.
