Deal insights
The Opjoy 2 Pack Turtles Solar Lanterns Outdoor is a Great Deal, offering basic solar lighting with IP65 weather resistance and a typical budget-level runtime at a price well below its recent average. The combination of below-average pricing and usable outdoor ingress protection makes this attractive for decorative garden or pathway use.
Here is why
When selecting outdoor lanterns, consider light output, power and runtime, and weather resistance. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Light Output (decorative LED; solar powered; lumens unlisted) : For a budget-priced lantern, decorative LED output with unspecified lumens is typical. Benchmarks show many low-cost units omit numeric lumen claims; buyers who need measured brightness should double-check lumen figures on the listing.
2.
Power & Runtime (solar powered; 7 hr runtime) : A ~7-hour nightly runtime fits squarely within budget expectations where runtimes commonly range 5–14 hours. The solar-only power arrangement is typical for this price band and explains the lower price versus units with USB backup or larger batteries.
3.
Weather Resistance (IP65 rated; waterproof outdoor) : An IP65 claim is stronger than many budget peers that list IP44 or no rating and aligns with mid-level weather protection. This level of ingress protection is a clear positive relative to typical budget items and supports outdoor use in exposed conditions.
Deal price at $15.29: sits near the lower end of the budget band for outdoor lanterns. It is priced below its recent 30-day average of about $30.35, which makes the current offer notably cheaper than its recent typical level.
Overall, this Great Deal suits buyers looking for inexpensive decorative solar lanterns for patios, walkways, or seasonal use. Confirm expected lumen levels on the product page if you need bright task lighting, and check seller return or warranty terms given the low price and brand.
