Deal insights
The Delamu 142in Beige Cord Hider Cable Covers is a Good Deal, offering a long multipiece kit and flame‑retardant material claims at a price slightly below recent levels. Features align with budget-to-mid-range expectations: slim single-cable channel capacity and peel-and-stick installation are typical for economy kits, while the 142in total and included fittings give practical installation coverage.
Here is why
When selecting cable raceways, compare channel capacity, mounting and installation, material and safety, and total length options. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Channel Capacity (0.45×0.33 in; single cable) : At this price band the channel is narrower than typical mid-range trays and aligns with budget-style slim covers. It is suitable for one or very slim paired cables but is noticeably smaller than multi-cable or power-strip capable raceways.
2.
Mounting & Installation (self-adhesive tape; quick setup) : Peel-and-stick installation is typical for budget items and common in lower-cost mid-range kits; it favors tool-free installs but lacks the screw/clamp options found in sturdier mid-range systems.
3.
Material & Safety (plastic construction; UL94 V-0) : Plastic construction with a UL94 V-0 claim matches common budget listings where marketing-level flame-retardant notes appear. Buyers who need certified metal or in-wall rated components would look higher in price.
4.
Total Length & Pieces (142 in total; 15.7 in pieces; elbows) : Total length and piece count are consistent with budget-to-mid-range multipacks and provide practical coverage for many rooms. The included fittings improve value compared with bare single-strip listings.
Deal price at $14.99: sits near the lower end of the mid-range band and above typical budget medians for cable raceways. It is priced below its recent 30-day average of about $16.15, which modestly improves value for a multipiece kit.
Overall, this Good Deal suits buyers needing a low-cost, visible cable management solution for baseboards and light-duty runs where single cables or slim bundles are the norm. Confirm the channel width works for your cables and review return/warranty terms if you need a more durable or higher-capacity metal raceway.
