Deal insights
The LAUSAINT HOME 13ft Large Double Sided Patio Umbrella is a Good Deal, offering a large 13 ft double-sided canopy, reinforced frame materials, and an included base at a mid-range price. Materials and rib count look solid for this price band, and the included cross base plus sandbags improves out-of-box usefulness compared with many budget alternatives.
Here is why
When selecting patio umbrellas, focus on canopy coverage, durability and materials, and operation and adjustability. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Canopy Coverage (13 ft canopy) : At 13 ft this coverage sits toward the upper end of typical mid-range footprints and matches mid-range expectations for larger patio umbrellas. Buyers should confirm the actual shaded footprint on the product page if exact dimensions matter for placement.
2.
Durability & Materials (1.9" aluminum pole; 12 fiberglass ribs; polyester canopy; rust-resistant finish) : Materials and 12-fiberglass ribs are consistent with mid-range benchmarks offering improved corrosion resistance and stronger ribs compared with budget units. The polyester canopy and rust-resistant frame are typical mid-range specs; they do not reach premium Sunbrella or higher GSM fabric levels but are appropriate for the price.
3.
Operation & Adjustability (crank open/close; crossbase; sandbags; no tilt) : Crank operation and an included base align with mid-range expectations and add practical value versus budget listings that sell bases separately. The lack of a stated tilt is weaker than some mid-range models that include push-button tilt or limited tilt; buyers who need tilt should double-check the product page.
Deal price at $114.99: sits in the mid-range band for patio umbrellas given its size and included base. The listing lacks explicit recent price history to compare against, but the price aligns with mid-range models that include larger canopies and bases.
As a Good Deal, this umbrella fits buyers who want larger shade coverage and a ready-to-install setup without moving into premium Sunbrella-level pricing. Confirm the exact shaded footprint and any wind-rating or warranty details on the product page if those factors matter for your installation.
