Deal insights
The NTONPOWER 10 ft Flat Extension Cord Power Strip with 6 Outlets 4 USB Ports is a Good Deal, offering a typical mid-range balance of surge protection, outlet count, and USB convenience at a price slightly below recent levels.
Here is why
When selecting power strips, compare surge protection, outlet layout, and USB charging capability. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Protection & Power Rating (1080 Joules; 10 A, 120 V; 10 outlets total) : At about 1080 J this matches typical budget-to-mid-range advertised protection and is within expected mid-range lower bounds. Protection is neither unusually high nor deficient for its price; buyers who need higher energy ratings should consider higher-tier models.
2.
Outlet Configuration (6 AC outlets; flat wall-plug; 10 ft cord) : Six AC outlets plus a flat plug and long 10 ft cord are typical for mid-range strips and suit crowded wall spaces. Outlet count is competitive for the price band but is a common value feature rather than a premium differentiator.
3.
USB Charging (USB-C 20W; 2 USB-A; shared 15W) : Includes a USB-C PD-style 20W port which aligns with mid-range expectations, though the listed total USB output (~15W) suggests ports share a modest budgeted power pool. This is typical for value-focused brands; buyers wanting sustained multi-device fast charging should verify per-port and simultaneous output limits.
Deal price at $24.99: sits near the median of the mid-range band for power strips. It is priced below its recent 30-day average of about $27.98, which modestly improves value for a model with mixed AC and USB outputs.
This Good Deal fits buyers who want many outlets plus basic surge protection and some fast USB charging without paying premium prices. Double-check warranty and return terms and confirm total shared USB power if you rely on simultaneous fast charging.
