Deal insights
The Greenworks 40V Cordless Leaf Blower is a Great Deal, offering typical handheld airflow and a lightweight, cordless form factor at a price noticeably below recent levels. Cleaning power and weight align with budget-to-midrange expectations, and the lower-than-average price makes this a compelling option for general homeowner use.
Here is why
When selecting leaf blowers, focus on cleaning power, power source, and weight/ergonomics. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Cleaning Power (130 CFM; 150 MPH) : At this price band the blower's 130 CFM is below the typical budget/mid-range airflow benchmarks that often start closer to 300–400 CFM; the 150 MPH figure is within common handheld MPH claims. This suggests modest real-world clearing power, more suited to light debris and tight spaces than heavy wet leaves.
2.
Power Source (Cordless) : Cordless is typical across budget and mid-range segments. For a 40V tool, effectiveness and runtime will depend on battery capacity; a cordless setup is convenient but buyers should confirm whether a battery is included or if higher‑Ah batteries are needed for longer runtimes.
3.
Weight & Ergonomics (3.3 pounds; ergonomic grip) : Weight is in line with lightweight handheld benchmarks and toward the lighter end of typical budget handhelds, which aids maneuverability. Ergonomic grip and low weight are appropriate for occasional homeowner use and reduce fatigue compared with heavier mid-range kits.
Deal price at $74.99: sits in the upper budget to lower mid-range area for leaf blowers. It is priced below its recent 90-day average of about $106.78, which improves the value proposition for a mainstream cordless model.
Overall, this Great Deal fits homeowners who want a light cordless blower for routine yard cleanup and prefer ease of use over commercial power. Confirm whether a battery is included or sold separately and check warranty/return terms if you need longer-term support.
