Deal insights
The idee-home Outdoor Bench Cushion Waterproof is a Good Deal, offering typical budget-tier weather protection, straightforward polyester construction with 3-inch foam, and a standard 59 x 18-inch bench fit at a price below recent averages.
Here is why
When selecting patio furniture cushions, it is helpful to look at weather resistance, materials and construction, and size and fit. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Weather Resistance (waterproof cover; DWR-like PU; splash protection) : At a budget price point this matches typical water-resistant polyester covers rather than premium solution-dyed or sealed-seam systems. The PU coating and splash protection are in line with budget expectations; for heavy, continuous rain buyers may prefer mid-range TPU-laminated or solution-dyed textiles.
2.
Materials & Construction (100% polyester; foam fill; 3 in thickness; zipper and ties) : Construction aligns with budget benchmarks: polyester cover, basic foam core and ties are typical. The 3-inch foam is common for entry-level bench pads and is adequate for casual seating but not as supportive or long-lasting as higher-density 28–30D foams found in mid-range cushions.
3.
Size & Fit (59 x 18 inches; single-piece bench; 3 in thickness) : Size matches standard bench lengths found in the budget band and fits common 59-inch benches. This is typical for the segment and should fit standard outdoor benches without special sizing concerns; buyers who need deeper or thicker cushions should look to mid-range options.
Deal price at $28.47: sits within the budget band for patio cushions and toward the lower end of typical bench-pad prices. It is priced below its recent 90-day average of about $38.82, which makes the current price more attractive for a basic outdoor bench cushion.
This Good Deal fits buyers who want an inexpensive, serviceable bench cushion for casual outdoor seating or seasonal use. Double-check zipper and tie quality and confirm return or warranty terms if you expect heavy outdoor exposure or year-round use.
