Deal insights
The Amazon Fire TV Alexa Voice Remote Pro is a Good Deal, offering ecosystem-native connectivity and convenience features at a price slightly below recent levels. Core strengths are broad Fire TV compatibility, Bluetooth voice control and a useful set of convenience features like backlit keys and find-my-remote; these align with mid-to-premium expectations for ecosystem remotes.
Here is why
When selecting remote controls, focus on compatibility, connectivity and control, and feature set. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Compatibility (Fire TV compatible; legacy models excluded) : Compatibility is typical for an OEM ecosystem remote and matches mid-range to premium expectations by explicitly supporting current Fire TV devices while noting older non-compatible models. This clarity is useful for buyers to confirm fit before purchase.
2.
Connectivity & Control (IR commands; Bluetooth headphones; Alexa voice) : Bluetooth pairing and Alexa voice control push this toward mid-range or premium behavior rather than budget IR-only functionality. The mix of IR for TV commands and Bluetooth for voice/headphones is in line with typical ecosystem remotes.
3.
Feature Set (customizable buttons; backlit keys; find-my-remote) : The extras listed are better than basic budget remotes and align with mid-range or entry premium feature sets (backlight, remote-finder, shortcut customization). These convenience features add perceived value relative to IR-only replacements and justify a price above basic mid-range models.
Deal price at $24.99: sits near the lower end of the premium band for remotes and above typical mid-range prices. It is priced below its recent 30-day average of about $28.14, which makes the current price comparatively attractive for an ecosystem OEM remote.
Overall, this Good Deal suits Fire TV owners who want reliable Alexa voice control, headphone Bluetooth pairing, and handy extras like backlit keys and remote-finder. Great for living-room or bedroom setups where ecosystem compatibility and convenience matter; double-check return/warranty terms if you prefer an open-box or discounted condition.
