Deal insights
StorageWorks Hand-Woven Storage Baskets with Wooden Handles, Water Hyacinth Wicker Baskets for Organizing, 2 Pack is a Good Deal, offering natural-fiber handwoven construction and an iron frame at a price below recent typical levels. The materials and construction lean toward mid-range expectations, capacity and compatibility match common shelf usage, and the sub-average recent price improves value.
Here is why
When selecting shelf baskets, focus on capacity, mounting/compatibility, and material and construction. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Capacity (17.25"L x 13.25"W; 6"H height; 2-pack set) : Size and 2-pack format align with typical mid-range baskets sized for shelves and cubes. Capacity is consistent with common mid-range cube/basket sizes and suitable for light-to-moderate storage rather than large laundry or trunk use.
2.
Mounting & Compatibility (open-top freestanding; fits shelves; iron frame) : Freestanding shelf compatibility with integrated handles and an internal iron frame matches mid-range expectations. No mounting hardware is normal for this category and the iron frame suggests better shape retention than basic fabric bins.
3.
Material & Construction (water hyacinth; handcrafted weave; natural unfinished; iron frame) : Natural water hyacinth over an iron frame is characteristic of mid-range to premium aesthetic and durability benchmarks. The unfinished natural finish is typical for artisan-style pieces; buyers who prioritize long-term heavy loads should note this is more decorative and moderately robust rather than heavy-duty premium construction.
Deal price at $36.99: sits in the mid-range band for shelf baskets. It is priced below its recent 30-day average of about $42.29, which makes the asking price comparatively attractive for a handcrafted natural-fiber set.
Overall, this Good Deal suits buyers who want decorative, shelf-ready baskets with sturdier framing and natural materials for living-room or shelf organization. Double-check dimensions against your shelving and confirm return/warranty terms if the finish or weave tolerance matters. The price below its recent average makes this a reasonable buy for those prioritizing look and moderate durability.
