Deal insights
YOGATI Yoga Mat with Strap is a Good Deal, offering budget-level thickness and size with a textured closed-cell grip and TPE construction at a competitive price point. The mat matches common budget benchmarks for cushioning, surface grip, material, and dimensions while the recent price is only modestly higher than its 30-day average.
Here is why
When selecting yoga mats, focus on cushioning, surface grip, material, and dimensions. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Cushioning (6 mm thickness; dense foam) : At roughly 6 mm this is typical for budget mats and aligns with the benchmark cushioning for that segment. The dense foam claim fits expected comfort for general practice but does not push into mid-range extra-thick territory.
2.
Surface Grip (closed-cell texture; non-slip stability) : This matches the budget typical of a textured non-slip closed-cell surface. Grip performance is in line with expectations for TPE budget mats; it is not presented as a premium sweat-activated or cork-style grip.
3.
Material (TPE material; hand washable; reversible two-tone) : TPE is the expected material for budget to mid-range mats and fits the budget segment benchmark. The reversible two-tone and hand-wash care are practical but do not imply premium natural rubber or studio-grade coatings.
4.
Dimensions & Weight (72 cm × 61 cm; 6 mm thickness; 820 g weight) : Dimensions and weight sit squarely in the budget typical range (roughly 72 × 24 in and ~800–1,100 g). Size and weight are suitable for standard practice and travel; buyers preferring wider or heavier studio mats should look at mid-range options.
Deal price at $24.99: sits at the upper end of the budget band for yoga mats. It is slightly above its recent 30-day average of about $22.43, which makes this price close to typical budget-level offerings.
This Good Deal fits buyers seeking an affordable, lightweight TPE mat for general practice or travel. Buyers who want heavier studio rubber or premium wet/dry grip should consider mid-range or premium options; double-check warranty and care instructions if those matter to you.
