Deal insights
The Taja Lined Spiral Journal Notebook is a Good Deal, offering 100 GSM paper and a solid 140-page single notebook at a price below its recent average. The paper weight aligns with mid-range expectations and the page count and layout are consistent with common mid-range journals, so the overall value is reasonable for everyday journaling or note-taking.
Here is why
When selecting spiral notebooks, consider paper quality, page layout, and pack/page count. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Paper Quality (100 GSM; ink-friendly; bleed-resistant) : At a mid-range price position, 100 GSM is typical and desirable for fountain-pen friendliness and reduced show-through. This matches mid-range benchmarks where heavier paper is the main driver of higher prices.
2.
Page Layout (ruled layout; 140 pages; 6-page TOC) : The ruled layout with a small table of contents and 140 pages fits mid-range expectations for added organization features. Extras like a TOC are consistent with mid-range typical layouts rather than basic budget offerings.
3.
Pack & Page Count (single notebook; 140 pages) : A single 140-page book sits comfortably in mid-range typical page counts. It is not a multipack value play but aligns with mid-range buyers who prefer single, higher-page-count journals.
Deal price at $11.98: sits toward the lower end of the mid-range band for spiral notebooks. It is priced below its recent 90-day average of about $14.87, which makes this listing more attractive versus typical mid-range offers.
This Good Deal suits buyers who want thicker, ink-friendly paper and a single 140-page spiral notebook for journaling, class notes, or planning. Double-check return and warranty terms if condition differs from new, but otherwise the below-average recent price plus 100 GSM paper makes it a practical pick for users who prioritize writing feel over premium extras.
