Deal insights
The Sweetcrispy 36 Inch Dog Crate is a Good Deal, offering typical budget-level metal construction, double-door access, and fold-flat portability at a price slightly under its recent average. The crate matches common budget benchmarks for materials and locks and provides a usable interior footprint for many medium dogs.
Here is why
When selecting basic dog crates, focus on size and capacity, material and construction, security and access, and portability and storage. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Size & Capacity (36.61"L x 22.64"W; 24.21"H; fits medium dog) : For a budget crate, nominal exterior dimensions and a medium fit are typical. The listing omits a clear interior usable length value, so buyers who need precise fit should double-check interior measurements on the product page.
2.
Material & Construction (metal frame; leak-proof ABS; double doors) : This aligns with budget benchmarks: light-gauge metal wire and a plastic slide-out tray are common. Construction appears typical for the price band rather than heavier mid-range tubing or welded alloy.
3.
Security & Access (front and side; 2 sliding bolts) : Double-door layout and slide-bolt locks are standard for budget crates and match typical expectations. Locks are basic slide/bolt types rather than upgraded self-locking or multi-point latches found in higher tiers.
4.
Portability & Storage (fold-flat design; travel-friendly storage) : Fold-flat portability is a common budget feature and matches expectations. The crate offers standard space-saving convenience but lacks higher-end mobility options like lockable casters that appear in pricier models.
Deal price at $34.92: sits near the lower end of the budget band for basic dog crates. It is priced slightly below its recent 30-day average of about $35.41, a small difference that modestly improves value for a budget metal crate.
This Good Deal suits buyers who want an inexpensive, portable metal crate for a medium dog and value fold-flat storage and double-door access. Double-check interior usable dimensions and the tray fit if exact interior space matters, and confirm the seller return or warranty terms when buying budget-condition items.
