Deal insights
Speedo Swim Goggles Hydrospex Ages 6-14 is a Good Deal, offering familiar Speedo fit systems and basic treated lenses at a price a touch below recent typical levels. The goggles match common mid-range comfort features for youth sizing and provide standard UV and anti-fog claims without premium lens technology.
Here is why
When selecting swimming goggles, focus on fit and comfort, lens performance, and intended use and sizing. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Fit & Comfort (G.O. FIT; soft one-piece; split silicone) : For the mid-range price band, the listed fit elements are typical. The soft one-piece frame and split strap align with common mid-range comfort and kid-focused designs rather than premium low-volume racing seals.
2.
Lens Performance (UV protection; anti-fog coating; rainbow PVC) : Lens claims match mid-range expectations for treated polycarbonate-style lenses with UV and anti-fog. The listing does not claim advanced hard-coat or premium mirror/REVO treatments, so performance is typical for this price rather than noticeably better.
3.
Intended Use & Sizing (youth 6-14; universal youth) : Sizing and intended use are squarely in the mid-range/kids recreational benchmark. If a buyer needs a specific nose-bridge fit or a lower-volume competition fit, it is worth double-checking exact measurements on the product page.
Deal price at $17: sits near the lower end of the mid-range band for swimming goggles. It is priced slightly below its recent 30-day average of about $17.73, which modestly improves value for a recognized brand.
This Good Deal suits parents or young swimmers who want reliable, comfortable training goggles from a known brand at a modest price advantage. Double-check fit on the product page if you need a specific nose-bridge size or a lower-volume racing fit; consider warranty or return options if sizing is uncertain.
