Deal insights
The Sorbus Kids Dresser, Cube Storage for Bedroom (10 Drawer, Tie Dye Purple) is a Good Deal, offering a large 10-drawer layout and lightweight construction at a below-recent-average price. The storage count and removable fabric bins match budget expectations, while the metal frame and wood top are typical for lower-cost modular towers; hardware details like soft-close glides are not specified, so the unit reads as value-focused rather than premium.
Here is why
When selecting dressers & chests of drawers, prioritize size and storage, materials and construction, and features and hardware. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Size & Storage (34 x 11.8 x 47.2 in; 10 drawers; 8 in drawer depth) : Drawer count is strong for a budget tower and aligns with typical budget benchmarks that commonly offer many fabric drawers. The size and depth are practical for kids' clothes and toys and are comparable to higher-count budget fabric units rather than wider mid-range dressers.
2.
Materials & Construction (steel frame; wood top; fabric drawers) : Materials match budget norms of metal frame plus fabric drawers and a wood top rather than mid-range engineered wood. This suggests typical lightweight durability for the price band rather than the sturdier construction expected in mid-range or premium pieces.
3.
Features & Hardware (tool-free assembly; hardware; soft-close unlisted) : The listed features are typical for budget models—easy assembly and removable bins are common. Key hardware upgrades like soft-close or metal full-extension glides are not specified, which is normal for this tier but means the unit is weaker than mid-range expectations on drawer hardware.
Deal price at $81.59: sits at the upper end of the budget band and just below typical mid-range entry prices. It is priced below its recent 30-day average of about $100.30, which makes the current price relatively attractive for a budget-style fabric/metal tower.
Overall, this Good Deal suits buyers seeking roomy, lightweight kids storage at a low price and who prioritize drawer count and portability over premium slides or heavy-duty construction. Great for bedrooms or playrooms where easy assembly and fold-flat bins matter; double-check return/warranty terms and confirm glide type if soft-close or heavy-load durability is important.
