Deal insights
The SONGMICS Laundry Hamper 80L Foldable 2 Pack is a Good Deal, offering a two-pack with above-typical single-basket capacity and budget-grade durable fabric at a low budget price point. The 21.1-gallon capacity per basket and 600D Oxford fabric align with common budget expectations while the 2-pack adds practical sorting value relative to single-bin budget options.
Here is why
When selecting laundry hampers, focus on capacity, compartments for sorting, and material/durability. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Capacity (21.1 gallons; ≈80 L) : At roughly 80 L per basket this is larger than many budget single bins and approaches mid-range family capacity in liters. For a budget-priced two-pack, the capacity is toward the higher end of what buyers see in this price band and is a practical advantage for laundry sorting.
2.
Compartments & Sorting (2-pack; laundry sorting) : A two-pack provides basic sorting convenience compared with the typical single-compartment budget basket. This matches or slightly exceeds typical budget offerings, delivering sorting value without the removable liners or multi-section frames common in mid-range sorters.
3.
Material & Durability (600D Oxford; steel frame; water-repellent) : Materials are typical for the budget tier—600D Oxford and simple steel framing are common and offer reasonable durability. This is consistent with budget benchmarks rather than mid-range furniture-quality construction; buyers wanting reinforced rigid bases or washable removable liners should look at higher-priced options.
Deal price at $12.99: sits within the budget price band for laundry hampers. It is roughly in line with its recent 90-day average of about $12.75, so the price is not materially different from recent typical levels.
This Good Deal fits shoppers who want simple, large-capacity fabric hampers and basic durability without paying for mid-range furniture features. Buyers who want removable liners, rigid frames, or rolling sorters should consider mid-range models; otherwise, confirm return policy and any warranty if condition concerns matter.
