Deal insights
The Razer USB C Dock 11-Port Travel Charging Station is a Good Deal, offering a well-rounded port set and useful 85W PD at a price a bit below recent levels. Ports and display support exceed simple budget hubs, and host compatibility and power delivery align with typical mid-range expectations.
Here is why
When selecting laptop docking stations, it is helpful to look at host compatibility, ports and display capability, and power delivery. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Host Compatibility (Windows compatible; Mac compatible; iPad compatible; USB-C host) : Classified as mid-range given price and hints. Compatibility claim matches typical mid-range docks that rely on full-feature USB-C/DP Alt Mode. Buyers should confirm their host supports DP Alt Mode or the dock may be limited for multi-display use.
2.
Ports & Display (11 ports; HDMI 4K60; SD/MicroSD; Ethernet port) : Port count and a single 4K60 HDMI go beyond basic budget hubs and align with lower-to-mid mid-range expectations. It does not claim dual 4K outputs or DisplayPort MST/Thunderbolt features typical of higher mid-range or premium docks, so multi-monitor power is likely limited to one native 4K60 display without additional adapters or drivers.
3.
Power Delivery (PD up to 85 W; 100 W input) : 85W PD to host is typical and adequate for most laptops and matches mid-range benchmarks that list 65–100W PD. The 100W input note is common wording; expect ~80–85W available to the host after hub overhead. If you need workstation-class >90W charging, a higher-tier dock would be preferable.
Deal price at $79.99: sits near the lower end of the mid-range band for laptop docks given its feature set. It is priced slightly below its recent 90-day average of about $82.18, and the Razer name can justify a moderate premium versus generic hubs.
Overall, this Good Deal suits users who want many wired connections and reliable laptop charging without paying premium dock prices. Confirm that your laptop supports full-feature USB-C/DP Alt Mode for the intended external display use, and double-check warranty/return terms if refurbished or open-box pricing appears elsewhere.
