Deal insights
The Probrico Gunmetal Black Door Knobs Interior, Closet Door Knobs No Lock, Keyless Passage Door Handles, 3 Pack is a Great Deal, offering standard passage functionality and durable-looking finishes at a price below recent typical levels. The set aligns with budget expectations on features and fit while including ANSI Grade 3 claims and stainless construction that lean toward better durability for the price.
Here is why
When selecting door knobs, consider functionality, installation and compatibility, and material and finish. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Functionality (passage function; keyless operation; operable both-sides) : This matches typical budget passage sets and is exactly what buyers expect for non-locking interior doors. Functionality is typical for the budget segment and appropriate given the low price.
2.
Installation & Compatibility (60mm or 70mm; 35–45 mm; square latch plate) : Compatibility claims are slightly more explicit than many budget listings and align with common residential backset/thickness ranges. Buyers should confirm their door's thickness and backset matches the listed 60/70mm options before purchase.
3.
Material & Finish (stainless steel; gunmetal black; ANSI Grade 3; brass tumbler) : Material and finish are stronger than basic zinc alloy budget items and the ANSI Grade 3 note suggests above-average durability for a budget-priced set. This pushes the perceived value toward mid-range expectations despite the low price.
Deal price at $20.48: sits near the upper end of the budget band for door knobs. It is priced below its recent 90-day average of about $27.94, which makes it comparatively attractive for a basic passage set.
Overall, this Great Deal is a good fit for homeowners or renters who need simple, keyless passage knobs for halls and closets and who value a rust-resistant finish at a low cost. Double-check door thickness and latch backset to confirm fit; consider warranty/return terms if you prefer longer-term hardware assurances.
