Deal insights
The Truvatronix GY009 Portable Waist Fan is a Great Deal, offering a very large battery and strong claimed airflow for a budget-priced wearable while undercutting its recent typical price. The 10,000mAh battery and runtime claim stand out versus usual budget expectations, and airflow/RPM figures are competitive for small wearable/clip units.
Here is why
When selecting personal fans, focus on airflow, battery/runtime, and size/portability. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Airflow (59 ft/s; 18, 500 rpm; 6 speeds) : For a budget wearable, the claimed 59 ft/s and 18,500 rpm are competitive and align with stronger budget/mid-range mini fan claims. RPM and m/s claims are common marketing metrics and correlate imperfectly with real-world CFM, but this specification is noticeably strong for a clip/waist unit.
2.
Power Source & Runtime (10, 000mAh; 35h runtime; USB rechargeable) : A 10,000mAh pack and up-to-35h runtime exceed typical budget benchmarks where 2,000–4,000mAh is common, and match mid-range runtime expectations. This large battery helps justify the price and supports long use on low settings; if condition were renewed/refurbished a lower price would be more expected, but condition is unspecified here.
3.
Size & Portability (3.19" D; 3.62" H; clip-on wearable) : Size and clip-on wearable form are typical for budget‑to‑mid wearable fans. Weight is not specified, which is useful for comfort assessment; buyers who prioritize wearability should double-check the product page for actual weight and clip stability.
Deal price at $14.99: sits in the budget band for personal fans and toward the higher end of typical budget prices. It is priced below its recent 90-day average of about $21.58, which makes the current price relatively attractive for a battery-powered wearable.
Overall, this Great Deal suits buyers who want long runtime for wearable or clip-on cooling without spending more on mid-range models. Confirm fit and weight for comfort and check warranty/returns since weight is not stated and this model is a value-oriented brand offering high battery capacity at a lower price.
