Deal insights
Mr. Pen Ergonomic Mouse Pad with Wrist Rest is a Good Deal, offering the expected budget-level surface and wrist cushioning at a price below recent typical levels. The fabric top and memory-foam wrist support match common budget ergonomics, the footprint is a standard small-to-medium size, and the non-slip rubber base aligns with low-price expectations.
Here is why
When selecting mouse pads, focus on surface performance, dimensions, and stability and cushioning. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Surface Performance (fabric micro-weave; precise tracking; memory-foam wrist) : At a budget price point this fabric micro-weave style surface with a memory-foam wrist rest is typical. The listing claims smooth, precise tracking which aligns with common low-cost cloth tops; this is neither premium nor unusually weak for the sub-$10 band.
2.
Dimensions (11.22" L; 9.64" W; small-to-medium) : The size matches typical small-to-medium budget pads and sits close to the usual ≈10×8 inch footprint. It is appropriate for standard mouse movement but not an extended desk mat for large sweeping mouse use.
3.
Stability & Cushioning (non-slip rubber; memory-foam wrist; unlisted thickness) : Non-slip rubber base and memory-foam wrist support are standard for budget ergonomic pads. Benchmarks expect thin-to-medium cores around a few millimetres; thickness isn't stated, so buyers who need firmer or thicker long-term support may want to confirm the exact pad core depth.
Deal price at $4.99: sits at the lower end of the budget band for mouse pads. It is priced below its recent 30-day average of about $5.97, which makes the listing slightly more attractive for a budget wrist-pad offering.
Overall, this Good Deal is suitable for buyers who want an inexpensive wrist-supported pad for everyday office or home use. Double-check return/warranty details if condition or long-term durability matters, and consider larger or thicker pads if you need extended desk coverage or firmer long-term support.
