Deal insights
The ModernMate 70'' TV Stand is a Good Deal, offering mid-range size and flexible storage at a price below recent typical levels. The footprint and stated TV compatibility align with common mid-range consoles, and the multi-drawer and adjustable-shelf layout is consistent with what buyers expect in this tier.
Here is why
When selecting television stands, focus on TV compatibility, overall dimensions and fit, and storage and organization. Here is how this product performs:
1.
TV Compatibility (fits up to 75"; tabletop placement) : Matches typical mid-range compatibility that commonly supports 55–80" TVs. The stated 75" ceiling is in line with similar consoles and should suit most large living-room sets; buyers who need explicit load capacity can confirm weight ratings on the product page.
2.
Dimensions & Fit (70.87" wide; 15.55" deep; 25.98" high) : Width and depth are typical for mid-range long consoles, offering the expected footprint for TVs near 70–75". Depth around 15.5" matches common mid-range shelves and should allow for soundbar clearance, but confirm exact internal clearances for tall AV components if relevant.
3.
Storage & Organization (4 drawers; 2 compartments; adjustable shelf; sliding doors) : Storage configuration aligns with mid-range expectations of mixed enclosed cabinets and adjustable shelving. This is noticeably typical for the segment and offers practical organization compared with basic budget open-shelf units.
Deal price at $227.99: sits in the mid-range price band for television stands. It is priced below its recent 90-day average of about $259.11, which makes it relatively attractive compared with typical mid-range options.
This Good Deal fits buyers who need a long console for TVs up to 75" and who value enclosed storage and adjustable shelving without paying premium prices. Double-check weight ratings and mounting/anti-tip details on the product page if you plan heavy equipment or a large TV; otherwise the lower-than-average price and practical storage make it a reasonable mid-range choice.
