Deal insights
Magpie Fabrics Patio Bench Cushion Cover 42x18x3 Inch is a Great Deal, offering a very low price for a polyester, removable-cover bench cushion fit that matches common budget expectations. The cover’s water-resistant polyester and machine-washable design are typical for low-cost cushions, and the listed dimensions and tie system match standard bench sizing; the sub-$10 price with a lower recent average makes this a strong value for buyers seeking an inexpensive replacement cover.
Here is why
When selecting patio furniture cushions, focus on weather resistance, materials and construction, and size and fit. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Weather Resistance (Water resistant; Machine washable; Fade resistance unlisted) : At this budget price, basic water-resistant polyester is typical. The listing aligns with budget benchmarks where covers repel light moisture but are not full waterproof or long-term UV-treated; fade resistance not stated, which is common at this price tier.
2.
Materials & Construction (Polyester cover; Zipper enclosure; Side ties; Insert not) : Materials and construction match budget expectations: polyester cover, zipper, and ties are typical. The lack of an included insert and basic zipper finish place it clearly in the lower-cost segment rather than mid-range build quality.
3.
Size & Fit (42"W x 18"D; 3"H cushion; Fits bench/swing) : Size and fit follow common bench cushion dimensions and are typical for budget-tier covers. The provided dimensions let buyers verify fit easily, so sizing risk is low for standard bench applications.
Deal price at $9.99: sits well below typical budget-level pricing for patio cushions. It is priced lower than its recent 90-day average of about $18.62, which helps justify the basic specification set for a value cover.
Overall, this Great Deal is well suited to shoppers who need an inexpensive, machine-washable bench cushion cover for occasional outdoor use or quick replacements. Double-check fit and whether you need an insert (one is not included). If longer-term outdoor durability or premium fade/water protection matters, consider mid-range alternatives priced substantially higher.
