Deal insights
The LG gram Pro 16" Touch Laptop, Intel Core Ultra 7 355, 32GB RAM, 2TB SSD is a Good Deal, offering premium-level memory and storage with very long battery life at a price below its recent 90-day average. Core performance, high RAM, and a lightweight 16" touch screen align with premium expectations, making this a strong option for users who value mobility and multitasking.
Here is why
When selecting traditional laptop computers, compare performance, battery life, portability, and display quality. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Performance (Intel Core Ultra 7; up to 4.7 GHz; 32 GB LPDDR5x; 49 TOPS NPU) : Mapped to the premium segment, the CPU plus 32 GB LPDDR5x and 2 TB SSD are at or above typical premium configurations and support heavy multitasking. The integrated AI NPU is a premium-era addition that can accelerate AI workloads compared with typical mid-range chips.
2.
Battery Life (77 Wh; 28.5 hr) : This runtime claim sits at the high end of premium expectations where optimized ultrabooks reach long runtimes. Manufacturer claims can be optimistic; still, the larger 77 Wh battery and LG's gram class suggest above-average battery life for productivity use.
3.
Portability (about 3 pounds; 0.6 in thickness; lightweight metal) : Portability is clearly toward the premium ultraportable side: sub-3.2 lb weight and thin metal construction match or exceed typical premium portability benchmarks, making it well suited for frequent travel.
4.
Display Quality (16 inches; 2560x1600 IPS; 350 nits) : The 2K IPS touch panel is consistent with premium display expectations though brightness (350 nits) is modest compared with higher-end creator screens rated 400+ nits or OLED. For most productivity and photo work this is typical premium-class performance; color gamut numbers are not given, so buyers needing color-critical accuracy should confirm panel coverage.
Deal price at $1879: sits in the premium band for traditional laptops given the benchmarks. It is priced below its recent 90-day average of about $2200.3, which makes the current price relatively attractive for a premium-configured model.
Overall, this Good Deal suits professionals and creators who want a light 16-inch laptop with lots of RAM and long runtime without paying typical premium pricing. Confirm warranty and any seller condition notes, and double-check ports and sustained CPU performance if you plan heavy sustained workloads.
