Deal insights
KitchenAid Measuring Cups, Set Of 4 Aqua Sky is a Great Deal, offering a standard 4-piece nesting set, dishwasher-safe plastic construction, and clear dual-unit markings at a price below recent typical levels for comparable budget sets.
Here is why
When selecting measuring cups, consider included pieces, measurement markings and material and construction. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Included Pieces (4-piece set; 1 cup max; 1/4–1 cup) : A 4-piece nesting set is typical for budget-level offerings and matches the usual consumer expectation for basic measuring capacity. This configuration is common in both budget and mid-range starter kits and gives practical coverage for most home recipes.
2.
Measurement Markings & Accuracy (dual units; metric markings) : Printed dual-unit markings are typical for budget plastic sets. The listing notes markings but not a quantified accuracy; that is normal for this category and price band—buyers wanting laboratory-level precision should consider mid-range etched or stainless options.
3.
Material & Construction (aqua plastic; nesting design; storage ring) : Basic molded plastic construction is standard for budget models. Compared with mid-range stainless or glass, plastic is lighter and less durable but common at this price; KitchenAid branding adds modest perceived value versus unbranded budget sets.
4.
Care & Heat Resistance (dishwasher safe) : A dishwasher-safe claim aligns with budget benchmarks. The listing does not give numeric heat-resistance limits, which is common for plastic sets; if high-heat use is intended, buyers should double-check specific temperature guidance on the product page.
Deal price at $6.99: sits at the lower end of the budget band for measuring cups. It is priced below its recent 30-day average of about $8.96, which makes the offer more attractive for a familiar kitchen brand.
Overall, this Great Deal fits home cooks who want an attractive, space-saving 4-piece cup set for everyday measuring without spending much. Buyers who care about long-term durability or exact heat ratings may want to confirm material thickness and heat limits on the product page, but for routine baking and cooking this is a practical value buy.
