Deal insights
Kohler 37722-G-BL Cinq Square Single-Function Filtered Showerhead is a Good Deal, offering premium finishes and a filtered single-function spray at a price below its recent average. The metal construction and matte black finish align with premium expectations, while the single-function 1.75 GPM performance is consistent with many higher-end low‑flow heads.
Here is why
When selecting fixed showerheads, focus on spray performance, flow rate, installation compatibility, and materials/finish. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Spray Performance (full body; square sprayface; single-function) : For a premium-priced head this single-function full body spray is typical of higher-end rain-style models that emphasize refined feel over mode count. It is neither multi-mode nor aggressively pressure-boosted, so performance will match premium single-function expectations rather than multi-setting versatility.
2.
Flow Rate (1.75 GPM) : A 1.75 GPM rating aligns with premium trends toward engineered lower-flow heads that keep perceived pressure. This is typical for premium models and is slightly lower than many mid-range listings that quote 2.5/1.8 options.
3.
Installation & Compatibility (wall mounted; fixed showerhead; standard hookup) : Standard 1/2" screw-on compatibility and fixed wall mounting match premium product norms and should be a straightforward replacement. Buyers who need an arm, diverter, or handheld combo should confirm those accessories are included or sold separately.
4.
Materials & Finish (metal body; Matte Black) : Metal construction and a matte black finish are consistent with premium benchmarks where metal faces and durable coatings are common. Brand reputation and solid materials support the price positioning versus plastic-bodied alternatives.
Deal price at $110.64: sits inside the lower portion of the premium price band for fixed showerheads. It is priced below its recent 90-day average of about $147.19, and the Kohler name commonly supports premium pricing.
This Good Deal fits buyers who want a durable, low-flow premium-looking fixed head and a brand-level warranty expectation. If you prioritize multiple spray modes or very high coverage, consider mid-range multi-mode alternatives; otherwise confirm installation fit and Kohler warranty details before purchase.
