Deal insights
The JSAUX USB C Headphone Adapter and Charger is a Good Deal, offering 24-bit/96kHz DAC capability, 60W PD passthrough, and TRRS mic support at a price a bit below recent typical levels. The feature set matches common mid-range expectations for multiport adapters while the compact build and no-driver operation make it convenient for everyday use.
Here is why
When selecting headphone adapters, look at connector compatibility, audio/ADC capabilities, charging passthrough, and build/form factor. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Connector Compatibility (USB-C input; 3.5mm TRRS; 60W PD; CTIA mic) : This matches typical mid-range multiport splitters that combine USB-C to 3.5mm plus PD. TRRS mic support and CTIA compatibility are expected for mid-range dongles and align with benchmark norms for device compatibility.
2.
Functionality (24-bit/96kHz DAC; 16-bit/48kHz ADC; fast charging) : Numeric DAC claims (24/96) and PD passthrough align with mid-range benchmarks where active DACs and ~60W charging are common. The ADC is typical for the segment; overall functionality is typical for a mid-range adapter rather than premium audio amplification.
3.
Form Factor & Build (slim portable; two-port design; glossy grey) : The small pigtail/inline dongle form and glossy ABS-style finish sit within the expected mid-range to budget build types. Materials and finish are typical for this price band; no-driver operation is normal and convenient for everyday use.
Deal price at $10.99: sits in the lower mid-range to upper budget band for headphone adapters. It is priced slightly below its recent 30-day average of about $12.01, which modestly improves the value proposition for a multiport DAC adapter.
This Good Deal fits buyers who want a small USB-C to 3.5mm adapter with decent DAC specs and charging passthrough for phone or laptop use. Double-check microphone compatibility with your device and confirm warranty/return terms if you prefer refurbished or open-box items; otherwise this is a practical pick for travel and casual listening.
