Deal insights
The IRIS USA XX-Large Top Entry Cat Litter Box is a Great Deal, offering a top-entry layout with removable lid and roomy footprint at a price that undercuts recent typical levels. The listed cleaning and maintenance features align with mid-range expectations, and the size matches large/XL footprints commonly sold in this segment.
Here is why
When selecting standard cat litter boxes, focus on cleaning and maintenance, box type, and size and capacity. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Cleaning & Maintenance (removable lid; smooth interior walls; lid litter trap) : For a mid-range price point, removable lids and smooth walls are typical and useful for wipe/rinse cleaning. The listed lid-trap feature aligns with mid-range expectations for improved litter containment versus basic pans.
2.
Box Type (top-entry) : Top-entry is a common mid-range design and matches the benchmark for covered/hooded boxes. This boxType is typical for buyers wanting reduced scatter and more privacy compared with open pans.
3.
Size & Capacity (30" L; 20" W; 16" H) : The dimensions correspond to a large/XL footprint typical of mid-range and some premium models. The listing does not state a litre capacity; buyers who need a precise volume for deep litter should double-check the product page, but the physical dimensions suggest usable large capacity consistent with its price band.
Deal price at $49.95: sits near the lower end of the mid-range band for standard cat litter boxes. It is priced below its recent 30-day average of about $64.63, which makes the current offer relatively attractive for a mid-range top-entry design.
Overall, this Great Deal suits owners seeking a roomy top-entry box with easier cleaning access and a quieter, enclosed profile for active cats. Double-check the exact interior usable depth or stated litter capacity on the product page if you need a specific litre volume, and confirm return/warranty terms if condition varies.
