Deal insights
Hadley Designs Hourly Appointment Book 2026-2027 Planner is a Great Deal, offering a full 17-month hourly layout and a portable 7x9 spiral-bound size at a price well below its recent average. The layout is stronger than many basic budget planners and the price advantage is clear given the recent 30-day average.
Here is why
When selecting planners, focus on layout and coverage, physical size, and paper quality. Here is how this product performs:
1.
Layout & Coverage (17 months; hourly 30-min; daily weekly monthly) : For a budget-priced planner, the 17-month hourly format is stronger than the typical monthly+weekly offering and leans toward mid-range functionality. Hourly 30-minute intervals and combined daily/weekly/monthly spreads are useful for appointments and are above what many basic budget planners provide.
2.
Size (7 x 9 inches; 0.5" thickness; spiral-bound) : Size sits between common A5 and larger desk formats and matches typical portable planner dimensions. Spiral binding supports lay-flat use, which is consistent with mid-to-budget practical designs and appropriate for frequent pen use.
3.
Paper Quality (spacious notes; unlisted) : Paper weight is not given, which is common on budget listings; benchmarked budget planners often cite non-numeric 'thick' paper or omit GSM. Buyers who need fountain-pen friendliness or specific thickness should double-check the paper weight on the product page, but the presence of spacious notes pages is a positive for usability.
Deal price at $7.99: sits at the low end of the budget band for planners. It is priced below its recent 30-day average of about $14.99, which makes the current offer notably cheaper than its recent typical level.
This Great Deal fits buyers who need an hourly appointment format and a compact spiral-bound planner for daily scheduling across 17 months. Confirm paper weight if you prefer heavier stock and check return or warranty terms if condition concerns arise, but the low price plus the detailed hourly layout makes this a practical choice for day-to-day scheduling.
